Arches & Canyonlands: Desert Spring
  May 27-June 1, 2012

   Doug Johnson & Tim Cooper

"I can not say enough positive about the Tim Cooper Photography Workshop that I attended. I have attended many photography workshops and this one is by far the most rewarding I have ever experienced. Tim and Doug know how to organize and put on a Perfect photographic experience. They were always available for advice and answering questions. I loved having Lightroom guidance in the classroom. I truly feel I left the workshop a much more confident photographer with a mind full of new information. I would highly recommend any workshop led by Tim Cooper and Doug Johnson. You guys are the best and your workshop was worth every penny."

THE WORKSHOP:
Springtime in Arches and Canyonlands is perfect, with long days providing the ideal framework for a workshop with lectures, midday critiques, extended shooting times during the golden hours and did we mention, fantastic weather. Our relaxed teaching philosophy is constructive, supportive and fun, which creates a noncompetitive environment and allows each participant to develop their own self-expression as photographers.

THE PARKS:
Two amazing national parks and one, fantastic workshop experience. Together Arches and Canyonlands embody some of the most beautiful and unique landscapes anywhere in the world. In Arches, extraordinary orange-red sandstone formations rise from the Colorado Plateau into the rich blue Utah skies with names like Delicate Arch, Balanced Rock and the Windows to name a few. In nearby Canyonlands National Park, the Island in the Sky District provides unparalleled panoramic vistas over the canyons cut by the Green and Colorado rivers during the magic hours. At Dead Horse State Park and the Green River Overlook, irresistible sandstone formations and colorful desert plants compliment the foreground and complete these sublime desert landscapes.
