THE WORKSHOP:
It’s incredible, a summer adventure, photographing in the heart of one of the most amazing mountain ranges on earth. Each summer the Canadian Rockies come alive, with blue-green waters that transform the landscape and mountain wildflowers bloom under the big beautiful skies. It’s a photographer’s paradise among the valleys, high peaks and ice fields of British Columbia and Alberta. With valuable lecture presentations that take full advantage of the three national parks we'll visit (Banff, Jasper and Yoho), our help in the field and insightful, constructive critiques, you'll surely come away with images that capture your experience in this incredible mountain landscape. |

THE PARK:
Lake Louise, in the heart of Canadian Rockies is home base for this workshop and from here great photographic opportunities are the visual playground. Its pure ecstasy to witness the first mountain light reflected in Moraine Lake and the alpine world around Lake O'Hara is one of the most picturesque high mountain lakes in the Canada. Takakkaw Falls is a visual gem and nearly the highest in Canada at close to 1000 ft., so don't forget to bring the rain gear when you get close to this one. Along the Icefields Parkway towards Jasper, morning mountain reflections greet us at Bow Lake and grand vistas high above the aqua colored Peyto Lake before we head north for magical hikes along the water-sculpted cataract of Mistaya Canyon and the intimate oasis of waterfalls known as Beauty Creek.
